This year, the event boasts a record number of teams from across Asia, namely Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The teams will compete neck-to-neck under extremely tense conditions. Given the open nature of the competition, ardent supporters of each team will be able to cheer their favourites on as they slave over their spectacular creations!

The website has registered more than 16,000 visits in 7 months and interest from many countries, in Asia-Pacific but also Europe, is increasing. "We understand that teams are working hard on their preparation and we can expect exciting moments with creations even more impressive than in 2008. October 2009:
Congratulation to Mr Li-Che Chen & Mr Hsui-Ming Chang, they will represent Taiwan at the Asian Pastry Cup 2010!
The final of the Taiwan Pastry Cup was held held on 25th October 2009.
August 2009:
Congratulation to Mr Jaycent Lau Tse Kwang (Raffles Hotel) & Mr Alex Chong Chi Hung (Hilton hotel), they will represent Singapore at the Asian Pastry Cup 2010!
The final of the Singapore Pastry Cup was held held on 29th August 2009 at Singapore.
May 2009:
Congratulation to Ms Tan Ngo Lam Kanh & Mr Pham Ngoc Hai from the Sofitel Saigon, they will represent Vietnam at the Asian Pastry Cup 2010!
The final of the Vietnam Pastry Cup was held held on 18th and 19th May 2009 at Hanoi.
April 2009:
The Bali team will represent Indonesia at the Asian Pastry Cup 2010!
Indonesia APC national selection was held on 18 April 2009 at Jakarta.
"Bali's Chefs Association, Bali culinary professionals (BCP), participated in the Pastry Class Display 5 Category, Asian Pastry Cup, sending 2 teams. The team members were Katarina Sari from Nikko Bali Resort and Spa partnering with I Ketut Candranata from Ayana Resort and Spa Bali and the second team was I Made Sutisna from Ayana Resort and Spa Bali partnering with I Wayan Laspina from St Regis Bali. The team I Made Sutisna and I Wayan Laspina took best pastry team, and qualifies to represent Indonesia for Asian Pastry Cup 2010 in Singapore." - WACS
